Laia Tejada Pinyol

Criminal lawyer, specialized in criminal law, compliance and technological crimes. He combines law practice with teaching at universities such as Pompeu Fabra University and the University of Barcelona.

  • During the years 2013 to 2016 he prepared the opposition for access to the Judicial and Prosecutorial Career. Master’s Degree in Criminal Law, Barcelona Bar Association, 2008-2009. Postgraduate degree in Compliance at Ramon Llull University (ESADE), in 2016 and Master’s Degree in Cybercrime at the International University of Catalonia, Excellence Scholarship, during the 2018-2019 academic year. He has also published several legal articles, given lectures and spoken in the media.
  • She is an associate professor at the Universitat Pompeu Fabra and the Universitat de Barcelona.
  • In 2020 he joined the firm Molins & Parés.
  • In 2024, he has been awarded the Luis del Castillo Prize (2023 edition) for his research project “The implementation of artificial intelligence in international criminal justice and its impact on human rights. Reflections in the light of the pioneering CJEU Judgment dated December 7, 2023 (Case C-634/21). Analysis of the European Regulation on Artificial Intelligence”.
