Julia Pilar González García
Julia González holds a law degree from Pompeu Fabra University (2003). At the end of his undergraduate studies, he completed a Master's Degree in Criminal Law and Criminal Sciences at the University of Barcelona and Pompeu Fabra University (2003-2005). In addition, she has taken numerous specialization courses in criminal law (juvenile jurisdiction, penitentiary, gender violence, jury, etc.), specializing also in compliance after completing a Postgraduate course on this subject at the Abat Oliva University (2017-2018).
- Since joining the profession, Julia has devoted herself exclusively to Criminal Law, having participated in the defense of the interests of both individuals and legal entities, both public and private, in different Courts and Tribunals throughout the country and in criminal proceedings of all types, thanks to the different specializations that have been recognized by the Barcelona Bar Association and to her working relationship with prestigious criminal law firms.
- In the teaching field, Julia has participated in the Master of Law at the Instituto Superior de Derecho y Empresa (ISDE), where she has taught several sessions dedicated to the study of corporate crimes. She has also collaborated as a guest lecturer in practical sessions on Criminal Law given by the University of Barcelona, the Pompeu Fabra University, the Barcelona Bar Association and the Official Association of Private Detectives of Catalonia, and the Judicial School.
- Currently, Julia holds the position of member of the Criminal Law section of the Barcelona Bar Association and has also been recognized and included in the international ranking of Best Lawyers in the category of “Criminal Defense” and “Litigation”.
