Crimes against the Administration of Justice

  • CRIME OF PREVARICATION (art. 446 PC): Punishes when a judge or magistrate issues an arbitrary sentence or resolution knowing its injustice.
  • FALSE REPORTING CRIME (art. 456 PC): Consists of reporting to an official criminal acts committed by a specific person knowing the falsity of such information.
  • CRIME OF SIMULATION OF A CRIME (art. 457 PC): Consists of simulating having committed a crime or being a victim of a crime, reporting it to an official and causing proceedings to be initiated to ascertain the alleged criminal act reported.
  • FALSE WITNESS CRIME (arts. 458 to 462 PC): It is committed when a witness lies in his statements before a judicial authority.
  • CRIME OF BREACH OF SENTENCES (arts. 468 to 471 PC): Consists of the breach of a sentence, security measure, imprisonment or precautionary measures imposed by a judicial authority.
